Zombies Cup 2013

Dear lacrosse friends,

Lacrosse club “Belgrade Zombies” is very proud to invite you to their third annual men’s lacrosse tournament which is held for lacrosse teams from all over Europe. This year we are turning it up a notch; we are hosting a larger tournament compared to the ones in the past. We have also changed the location of our tournament as well as the name. This year we are hosting a tournament under name “Zombies Cup” (ex Nursery Mercenaries); at the football stadium, home of FC BASK near the Ada lake.
We invite you to come to Belgrade and compete with international men’s teams on full field playground in the city voted to have the best night life by Lonely Planet.

Tournament info


Location: Belgrade, Serbia
Dates: September 27th, 28th and 29th 2013.
Teams: 8-10 men’s teams
(all teams have to have minimum of 12 players on the roster, 10 players + 2 subs )
Field: Full size artificial turf field, home field of FC “BASK” licensed by FIFA.


Games/Regulations:
All games will be played on a full size field 2x20min
Games for 3rd and 1st place will be played in 12min quarters


Players are allowed to play for one team only. Breaking this rule will cause the team to be disqualified from the tournament. (this rule does not apply for the exhibition all-star game on Sunday)
If you are coming by yourself please contact us so that we can find a spot for you on one of the teams, if necessary we may also form a mix team.




All inclusive package includes:

• Two nights at 3* rooms next to the field (each room has its own bathroom, dresser, TV, AC, Wi-Fi)

• Six meals at the “Prestige Hotel Restaurant ****” (Friday: dinner, Saturday: breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch)

• Player entrance fee (changing rooms, referees, water on field, doctor)

• Tournament t-shirt


Payments vary due the deadlines:

by July 31st 65 Euros per player

August 1st - 31st 70 Euros per player

from September 1st 75 Euros per player



Basic package
Regular team (player) entrance fee without accommodation and food.



Including only

• Player entrance fee (changing rooms, referees, water on field, doctor)

• Tournament t-shirt


Payments vary due the deadlines:

by July 31st 300 Euros per team (30 Euros per player without a team)

August 1st - 31st 350 Euros per team (35 Euros per player without a team)

Rampage 2013

Women's boxlax fun tournament.
You can sign in as free agent or team.

Details:
1. Date: 3-4 August 2013 (if you come at friday- we'll take care of you)
2. Place: Kraków/Wieliczka (near Kraków)- depending on felds availibility
3. Fee: none/15-25 euro per team
4. Number of players per team allowed: infinite
5. Medical care: maybe someone to help out with bruises and small things like that
6. Rules:
-grass field with no boards
-basically men's boxlax rules
-limited due to delicate nature of women (or technical issues like lack of boards to flatten enemies on them)
-field goalie (there's no box goalies in Poland :P )
-play time- yet to decide (2x15 or 3x20)
-equipment- men's
7. Teams: Wataha Kraków, Kosynierki Wrocław, Poznań Hussars Ladies

9. Extra entertainments: party on saturday

The Mediolanum Cup is the first Men's and Women's International Lax Tournament to be held in Milan, Italy, 8-9 June 2013.

Manchester 8s Lacrosse Festival

The Manchester 8s (M8s) is a 3 day Lacrosse & Music Festival. The Festival will be held at the Broughton Park sports complex, which is situated by the Hough End playing fields, approximately 10 minutes drive from the heart of Manchester city centre.

The festival is spread over 3 days and Lax fans can look forward to playing and partying all weekend. On the pitch there are various lacrosse tournaments for both men and women, off the pitch you can soak in the atmosphere by walking around the trade village or making some shapes in one of the party marquees!

Camping is certainly the best way to experience the festival. The campsite is situated on the festival site and next to the car park, so you don’t have to drag your bags 50 miles! 24hr Security, lighting and washing facilities are all on site, so you can relax and enjoy a comfortable weekend.
